THANH CONG CAR PARKING

The lack of the parking lots in the downtown Hanoi City still has been a problem. Till now there is not any long-term plan for the car parkings yet. There are only the motorbike parkings in front of the stores, markets, or the supermarket which are spontaneously developed on the pavement, or even on the roadway, obstructing the traffic.
For the development of urban today, traffic is the most urgent and most difficult issue, especially with the limited land space. Beside the construction of the basic infrastructure such as bridges and roads, it is a must to set up the parking lots accordingly. The parking lots are traditionally set up on a wide land space, or with many stories, which is not only a waste of land space but also degrades the urban landscape. The parking lots at the basements of the buildings can only meet a very small part of the huge demand of parking, especially in the area with the high traffic density.
Therefore, the best solution for this problem in the modern urbans is to set up the underground car park, which helps develop the space without destroying the landscape. |
